We are excited about the upcoming two-day intensive Psychology of Ayurveda . . . Healing Mind, Healing Consciousness to be held on November 18-19, 2006 in San Francisco, CA and hope you will be able to join us.
Dr. David Frawley, founder of the American Institute of Vedic Studies and author of Ayurveda and the Mind, Ayurvedic Astrology, and many other books, will join Dr. Marc Halpern, founder of the California College of Ayurveda and world-class Ayurvedic educator, that weekend for a rare appearance together.
The focus for this extraordinary program will be on healing our consciousness using diet, herbs, and sensory therapies such as aroma, color, pranayama, mantras, meditation, touch, yantras and yoga.
Modern life with its hectic pace, over-loaded schedules, and disconnect between our working reality and our spiritual aspirations leave many fighting bouts of anxiety and depression. Together, Dr. Frawley and Dr. Halpern will offer first hand their in-depth knowledge for turning those emotions around to embrace the peace, contentment and balance possible through an Ayurvedic life-practice.
If you are looking for techniques that are not found in mainstream healing texts, this weekend is for you. Sponsoring the program, the California College of Ayurveda looks to bring the sacred back into the everyday experience and tap into the ancient wisdom and mysterious language of the senses. Everything we hear, see, touch, taste and smell affects our consciousness. For this weekend only, we will learn the art of Ayurveda from the mystic’s point of view.
Dates for the intensive are Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19, 2006. Registration is $295 per person with a $100 non-refundable deposit required to hold space. There is very limited seating and we are expecting to sell out. Please register early so you will not be disappointed.
