Level I: Ayurvedic Health Educator (A.H.E.)
(545 hours)
Pre-requisites
High school diploma or equivalent. Students of other recognized Ayurvedic programs in the United States may take a placement examination to determine their competency in Ayurvedic principles and practices. The fee for the placement exam is $500 and can be applied toward classes.
Curriculum
Students who complete the A.H.E. program (which is Level One of CCA's training program) will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is a joint certificate of completion from both the California College of Ayurveda and the American Institute of Vedic Studies. The certificate is signed by Dr. David Frawley and Dr. Marc Halpern. This program is for the student wishing to integrate their training in Ayurveda with an existing health care degree, massage or yoga certification, or to receive the knowledge for personal growth and/or self-healing. Graduates with no previous training may conduct community ayurvedic educational workshops and seminars. This training can be combined with our Ayurvedic massage and Body Therapy certification, allowing level-one graduates to become licensed Massage Therapists in the state of California and perform Ayurvedic massage and spa therapies.
