Once each year the College offers its five-day, 45-hour Panchakarma Specialist training (PKS). This advanced program is only open to students who have completed the Ayurvedic Massage and Body Therapy training program and who are enrolled in, or a graduate of, the Ayurvedic Health Practitioner or Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist training programs. While students learn all about panchakarma and pancha karmaclinical management in the A.H.P. and C.A.S. programs, this special seminar training program is almost entirely hands-on. Students fine-tune their practices of abhyangai (Ayurvedic massage), shirodarai, svedanai (herbal steam treatment), learn how to perform bastii (enema) and nasya treatments and discuss issues related to the daily practice of panchakarma.

Students may register and attend this program at any time. However, certifications are only given to students who have completed their Ayurvedic Health Practitioner certification as clinical case management experience is a requisite for competency. If a student attends this program before completing the Ayurvedic Health Practitioner certification the Panchakarma Specialist certificate will be with-held until all studies are completed.
This program is only offered at our Northern California location.
