CCA offers certificate programs in Ayurvedic Medicine for Ayurvedic Yoga Practitioners, Ayurvedic Health Counselors, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialists and Medical Ayurvedic Specialists.
We also offer Ayurveda training through our series of Ayurveda online short courses, online seminars and hands-on workshops. Convenient online & Distance Learning options are available for out-of-state and international students.

The California College of Ayurveda was founded in 1995 by Dr. Marc Halpern, one of the pioneers of Ayurvedic education in the West. The first state-approved school for Ayurvedic medicine, CCA has become both the largest and most recognized center for Ayurvedic education in the United States.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, which literally means “The Science of Life” is the traditional healing science of India.
More than 5,000 years old, the time-honored traditional knowledge of Ayurveda is just as relevant to modern society today and has helped millions of individuals to return to optimal health.
California College of Ayurveda (CCA) is a private institution approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
