Our Body Therapy Workshops
Ayurvedic Massage & Bliss Therapy (AMBT)

Abhyanga
This traditional full-body Ayurvedic massage reduces stress, blood pressure, anxiety and muscle aches and pains. This therapy is beneficial to the nervous and immune systems and is particularly good for anxiety, stress, Parkinson’s disease, heart palpitations, chronic fatigue and general toning.

Shirodhara
Specifically focused on balancing and stabilizing the mind, taking you on a journey deep within. Good for treatment of mental and emotional conditions such as insomnia, hormonal imbalances, disorders of the nervous system, stress and anxiety.

Svedana
This treatment aids in the elimination of toxins. Beneficial for stiffness, coughs, pain in the ears, neck or head, edema and promotes deep relaxation. An oil application precedes this steam, or it may be added after a massage or body therapy.

Ayurvedic Facials
This lovely facial provides a soothing and exfoliating massage that nurtures the skin. Special energetic points on the face and scalp are massaged to calm the activity of the mind, creating a state of peace & tranquility.

Marma Therapy
Using the 107 energy points on the body, this treatment restores the proper flow of energy (prana) through the entire body and eases specific conditions while enhancing the natural ability of the body to heal. Practitioners work with prana & massage marma points with essential oils.

Pinda Svedana
Utilizing warm pindas filled with rice or herbs soaked in medicated oil. When applied to the whole body it is good for neuromuscular and skeletal disorders. Applied to specific areas of the body experiencing pain or discomfort it supports healing.

Clinical Nasya Treatment
This treatment transitions between a relaxing facial massage using marma points of the head, face and neck and heat therapy. It is followed by nasal administration of herbalized oils to clean and purify the sinuses.

Chakra Dough Basti
Dough is shaped and used to contain warm herbal oils on special parts of the body, allowing the oil’s medicinal properties to penetrate deeply into that part of the body. Common areas include the low back, eyes and heart.

Shanti Komala Basti
An medicated herbal oil or tea decoction enema infused with Ayurvedic herbs that gently tonifies the colon. This is one of the main therapies of panchakarma and is used to remove excess vata in the body.
