Day Spa Policies and Considerations

Welcome to The Ayurvedic Spa at The California College of Ayurveda. In order for you to receive the best care, please look over our policies and considerations before your appointment:

  • Advanced reservations are necessary.
  • Balance is due after your service.
  • Tipping is appreciated by our staff and should take place after therapies are completed and gifted directly to the practitioner.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with no penalty prior to 24 hours of your visit. If you cancel within 24 hours of the time, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of $25.
  • If you are late for your appointment, your appointment is considered a late cancel after 15 minutes. If you are less than 15 minutes late, we will provide your scheduled therapy within the time frame of the original appointment. This means that you therapy will be shortened.
  • We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior your appointment time to turn off electronics, relax, have a cup of tea, and fill out your intake paperwork.
  • If you have any medical conditions we advise you to consult your doctor before receiving services, and make your therapist aware.
  • If you are receiving a shirodhara, please know that your hair will be oily upon leaving. You may want to bring a towel, bandana or other material to cover your head after the service.
  • A full consultation with an onsite Ayurvedic practitioner is recommended, but not necessary.
