Announcing Our New Name for An Ancient Practice: CLASSICAL AYURVEDIC YOGA THERAPY™

Stay Updated with the News & Latest Blogs of CCA.

We’re excited to announce that our Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program, which we offer each spring in the Bahamas, has a new name:  CLASSICAL AYURVEDIC YOGA THERAPY

Why “Classical”? Because that’s just what it is!

Dr. Marc Halpern, in creating this highly successful program, has focused very intentionally on creating a program that is true to the ancient teachings of yoga therapy. In Classical Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, the healing wisdom of Ayurveda is applied to Yoga. This means that each person is treated as a unique individual.

In the 13 day Classical Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program, participants learn how to adapt yoga classes toward the specific needs of each individual, including deep instruction in the use of asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation for healing purposes based upon classical Ayurvedic principles. In addition to learning how to apply this knowledge to others, this program also provides an opportunity for a personal journey within, allowing you to explore your own Ayurvedic constitution and create a lifestyle that leads to inner peace and healing.

Held at the beautiful Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Paradise Island, Bahamas

March 10-22, 2015

Taught by Dr. Marc Halpern and Dr. Marisa Jackson-Kinman
