Ashley Meadows

CAS, Herbalist, RYT, and classically trained Chef

Ashley is a faculty member at the California College of Ayurveda. Her passion for food as medicine has guided a lifelong journey of healing, teaching, and community transformation. In addition to practitioner consulting, body therapies and medicine makeing, Ashley has designed and taught seasonal Ayurvedic cooking classes, as well as yoga-based workshops that merge: Doshic theory, breathwork, shamanism and medicine making. She also has a passion for teaching children, developing an Ayurvedic after school program for Montessori and Waldorf. Here children learn by interacting with the elements through play. Her teachings are accessible, joyful, and deeply nourishing. Ashley brings a unique and embodied approach to Ayurveda – One rooted in the kitchen, the garden, and the sacred rhythms of nature. Her mission: To inspire all generations to realize Ayurveda not only as a science, but as a sacred way of living. One that nourishes body, mind, and soul. One breath, one meal, and one season at a time.
