Kelsey Page

M.A.S.

Kelsey is a Faculty Instructor, Intern Supervisor and Master Teacher at the California College of Ayurveda where she teaches classes including Ayurvedic Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology. She graduated from the California College of Ayurveda with her Doctorate in Ayurvedic Medicine and Marma Therapist certifications. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada Reno with an emphasis in Ceramics and Art History.  She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training rooted in Tibetan Buddhism. Kelsey is enthusiastic about the Ayurvedic lifestyle and believes Ayurveda to be evolving and timeless. She appreciates the convergence of ancient medicine and modern science to inspire and empower people to experience balance and live life to their fullest potential.

Kelsey Page was first introduced to Ayurveda through her practice of yoga, prior to understanding the relationship between the two disciplines. At age 17, she attended Hatha Yoga classes twice weekly at the local recreation center. Subsequently, she learned that yoga is regarded as the sister science to Ayurveda. She relocated from Southern Nevada to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Art has remained central to both her personal and professional development. She has held numerous exhibitions, including solo shows at various galleries, and has volunteered as a curator at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno. Kelsey Page has consistently prioritized health and wellness, an interest that has intensified over time. Her study of Chinese Medicine led her to explore Ayurvedic Medicine and the California College of Ayurveda. Following a campus visit, she enrolled at the institution in 2017, driven by a strong sense of purpose.

The Principles of Ayurvedic Medicine course had a significant impact on her from the outset. Integrating this education with her interests in wellness, yoga, and art proved to be an optimal combination. In that same year, the California College of Ayurveda introduced the Doctorate of Ayurvedic Medicine (AyD), now referred to as the Master of Ayurvedic Medicine (MAS). She immediately identified this program as her intended professional goal. In the summer of 2020, the California College of Ayurveda appointed her to the faculty. Her areas of expertise include Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Dhatus, Subdoshas, Srotamsi, Women’s Health, the Urinary System, and the Nervous System. She earned her Doctorate of Ayurvedic Medicine in 2022 from the California College of Ayurveda. She currently supervises Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist Interns, is a Mentor to students internationally, and remains committed to expanding her knowledge of Ayurveda. She runs her private practice, Ayudar Ayurveda, where she works one-on-one with clients. She considers herself a lifelong student of both the earth and Ayurveda.
