The California College of Ayurveda (CCA) in conjunction with international tea & herb company, ORGANIC INDIA, will be sharing a very special gift with the local community of Nevada County this Wednesday. The CCA is a teaching college and clinic which has partnered with ORGANIC INDIA to provide community education and access to herbal medicines both here in the US and in India.
On Wednesday, July 27th 2016 the CCA will be giving away over 200 pounds of organically grown, fair trade Turmeric herb powder. To spread the love as far as possible we will limit the giveaway to 1 pound of Turmeric per person on a first come first serve basis. The giveaway will occur on Wednesday July 27th from 4-6pm (or when the Turmeric is gone, whichever comes first) at the college’s main campus of 700 Zion Street, Nevada City. Our gift shop will also be open during this time for purchasing books, oils, tea supplies, etc.
Please note that the Turmeric we are giving away is close to its distribution expiration date and should be consumed within 1 year.
