Our founder, Dr. Marc Halpern, is a Western pioneer of Ayurvedic Medicine & Ayurvedic Education.

He is also a Founding Director of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine.

Ayurvedic Yoga Practitioner

Deepen Your Teaching with Ayurvedic Training

An Ayurvedic Yoga Practitioner (AYP) is a Yoga Teacher with a solid background in Ayurveda who knows how to conduct dosha specific classes and individual sessions and is able to integrate the fundamental principles of Ayurveda into their teaching. An Ayurvedic Yoga Practitioner is one part Yoga Teacher and one part Ayurvedic Practitioner. More Info »

Ayurvedic Health Counselor

A Solid Foundation in Ayurvedic Theory & Preventative Medicine

An Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) is a specialist in preventative and lifestyle medicine. This important program is the foundation of the practice of ayurvedic medicine and provides you with the tools necessary to support patients in preventing disease and transforming their life toward harmony and health. Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist

Continue Your Studies Learning Clinical Theory and Skills

Becoming a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS) is the next step in Ayurvedic practice. This intermediate program includes the study of the classical ayurvedic understanding of disease within each system of the body as well as an overview of the Western understanding. At this level, you will gain extensive knowledge of panchakarma and herbal medicine, including herbal formula design, and how to treat existing mild, moderate, or serious diseases. More Info »

Ayurvedic Doctor

The Highest Level of Clinical Training Available

The Ayurvedic Doctor Program (AyD) has been approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. During this advanced program, you will be attending classes as well as seeing patients. You will come away with a deep knowledge of Ayurveda and have the ability to integrate aspects of Western medicine into your practice, allowing you to act as a bridge between the two in order to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s condition. Ayurvedic Massage & Bliss Therapy

This is hands on training taught in a 5 day intensive format. You will learn Abhyanga (ayurvedic massage), Shirodhara (oil treatment), and Svedana (herbal steam treatment). More info »

Advanced Ayurvedic Body Therapies

These workshops provide a variety of training in techniques that include marma therapy, facials, and dough dams. More info »

Panchakarma Specialist

Ayurvedic Herbal Apprenticeship Program
