Marisa has maintained an active clinical practice since 2004 and is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She co-teaches Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy and a variety of other programs with Dr. Marc Halpern, founder and director of CCA, at various locations worldwide. Marisa considers herself a life-long student of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta.

Brenda is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda with certifications as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and a Pancha Karma Specialist. Brenda has continued her education with studies in India, focusing on herbalism and complimentary treatment of cancer. Brenda shares her lifelong passion of herbalism and women’s health while teaching these chapters of the College curriculum. As the Director of Herbalism at the College Brenda also runs the Making Herbal Medicines Workshop and the elective Ayurvedic Herbal Apprenticeship Program at the College.
Brenda has a great reverence for nature and is a lover of all things plant kingdom. Her hobbies are woven strongly in the world of nature and the fine arts.

Sarilian (Carmina Pinto) has 10 years of studio and holistic development Ayurvedic Specialist Ayurvedic Consultations by the California College of Ayurveda, Massage Therapist school Body Mind and Healing Hands of California specializing in therapies for chronic diseases and Ayurvedic massage traditional application based relaxation, deep massaje, Prana healing through, Marma Points, Stone Therapy. It is a creditor of the following certifications: Member of the Association of Teachers of Kripalu Yoga (kyta) and Nama (National Association of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Yoga Instructor Certification as Adult, Children’s Yoga by Little Flower School New York Yoga, Certified Yoga for specialized instruction for children by Rainbow International School in Israel.

Gary is certified as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (California College of Ayurveda, 2002). He had his own private practice for several years before integrating his interest in cooking as a private chef. He expanded to a holistic catering business cooking Ayurvedic cuisine with a ‘farm to plate’ mentality. Fueled by his desire for healing and growth, Gary has gained knowledge from all over the world and brings those learning experiences into his daily life working with patients. He has an extensive background in mind/body somatic therapies; Cellular Memory and Family Constellation Work, to name a few. Most recently, he was living and working in the land of Aloha on the Big Island of Hawai`i at a world class yoga retreat center. A love of Ayurveda and helping others has brought him back to his roots at the CCA. As a supervisor of AHP & CAS interns, Gary oversees their work in the school’s onsite clinic. He assists in sharing the school’s curriculum, as well as maintaining a practice with his own patients. He is passionate about Ayurveda and empowering others to take responsibility for their own healing.

Lisa Gallant is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Pancha Karma Specialist and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is a Clinical internship Supervisor and a Distance Learning Master Teacher. She has an extensive background in massage and bodywork, as well as additional training in Integrative Medicine from an allopathic perspective. Lisa had a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for 6 years where she offered consultations and Ayurvedic bodywork. She moved to Nevada City in August 2012 to expand her love of teaching and be a part of the amazing on site team of practitioners. Lisa works with her patients to reveal and heal the root cause of disease. In her personal life, Lisa deeply enjoys hiking, travel and music.
