The Transition from Student To Practitioner
Overview
Internship marks the transition from Ayurveda student to Ayurvedic practitioner. This is the most important time in a student’s learning experience. A quality experience during your internship makes the transition into the world as a practitioner much easier and more successful.
CCA Offers Three Internship Programs:
Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHCi)
Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CASi)
Medical Ayurvedic Specialist (MASi)
CCA’s internship programs are true internships where students are working with patients and learning the skills necessary to become successful in practice. Interns are trained to work with patients both in person and online, allowing interns the opportunity to reach patients from any location. Unlike many other programs that are only observational, or in which interns only see friends, other students, and family; CCA interns have the opportunity to work at CCA’s Healthcare Center or in their own communities. Internships include classes as well as time spent with patients.
