From Panchakarma Theory to Real Clinical Practice
This workshop is the capstone of CCA’s Panchakarma Specialist Workshop track. Where Clinical Nasya and Shanti Komala Basti™ teach the hands-on techniques, this course teaches the clinical judgment behind them: how to design a personalized Panchakarma program, manage a client’s case from start to finish, and handle the challenges that come up in real practice.
The course combines classical Panchakarma principles with modern clinical application, so students leave able to confidently plan and oversee a full Panchakarma treatment, not just perform individual therapies.
Curriculum Includes
- Program Overview: advanced training in real-world Panchakarma practice, combining classical principles with modern application
- What You’ll Learn: designing personalized Panchakarma programs, managing client cases effectively, and handling treatment challenges with confidence
- Practical Experience: performing one Panchakarma program within 3 months of the workshop, with hands-on experience on a real case
- Case Review & Follow-Up: submitting a case report and attending a 3-hour follow-up session for expert feedback
Outcome: Students leave able to confidently design and manage a complete Panchakarma treatment program.
Who This is For: Practitioners Ready to Practice Independently

Frequently Asked Questions
Clinical Nasya and Shanti Komala Basti™ teach specific hands-on therapies. This workshop teaches the clinical judgment that ties them together: how to design a full Panchakarma program for a real client, sequence treatments appropriately, and manage a case from intake through follow-up. It's the planning and case-management layer that sits on top of the individual techniques.
Yes. Both are required prerequisites, since this course assumes students already have hands-on experience with Nasya and Basti and are ready to apply that skill within a designed treatment program.
Students perform one full Panchakarma program on their own within three months of the workshop, submit a case report on that experience, and attend a required 3-hour follow-up session to review it with faculty and receive feedback.
Yes. It's the third and final workshop in CCA's Panchakarma Specialist Workshop track, following Clinical Nasya and Shanti Komala Basti™. Completing all three, with the combined bundle discount, is the standard path to the full Panchakarma Specialist designation.
California College of Ayurveda is state-approved, not accredited. It was the first state-approved Ayurvedic college in the United States, receiving state approval for its programs in 1996.
