Clinical Nasya Course

Overview

This 2 day, hands-on advanced ayurvedic therapy course teaches students the art and science of Clinical Nasya, the process of administering medicines into the nasal passages. The clinical process utilizes an extensive treatment that prepares the face and nasal passages to receive the oil. Clinical Nasya Treatments are the best method of administering medicines in the management of conditions of the head and neck. This includes the management of the ears, eyes, nose, throat and brain.

  • Pratymasha Nasya (Small amounts of oil)
  • Snehana Nasya (Large amounts of oil)
  • Pradhamana Nasya (Dry powders)
  • Dhuma Nasya (Smoke)

Instructor

Ragaia BelovaracRagaia Belovarac – M.A., C.A.S., P.K.S., C.M.T

Ragaia is the Founder and Steward of Blue Sage Ayurveda / Sanctuary located in Northern California. He is also the primary Ayurvedic consultant  practitioner directing programs and guiding clients during their in house programs at the Healing Sanctuary. He received his certification as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (C.A.S.) and Pancha Karma Specialist (P.K.S.) from the California College of Ayurveda (CCA) and the American Institute of Vedic Studies. As past Co-Director of the CCA Pancha Karma Center his understanding of holding space further deepened in a way that facilitated the individual’s healing journey.

Prerequisites

Open to students who have an Ayurvedic Body Therapist certificate and who are enrolled in, or have completed, the Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist Internship (CASi). Although these courses may be taken before completing Internship, certificates of completion for this course are given only to students who have completed their internship program.

Additional Information

Travel: Students flying out following the last day of class should consider that the Sacramento International Airport is 90 minutes by car from the campus and that it is recommended to arrive at least 90 minutes before your flight.

Credit

Students receive 14 credit hours of study through the college for completion of this course.

Tuition

$500 – Price includes a $250 non-refundable required registration fee.

Registration means we have met certain minimum standards imposed by the state for registered schools on the basis of our written application to the state. This agreement is legally binding when sent to the College over the internet and payment of the deposit is made. Refund Policy

You have the right to cancel the enrollment agreement for this course of instruction, including books, materials and related goods or supplies, and obtain a refund. The institution, for all students, without penalty or obligation, shall refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, less reasonable application and registration fees not to exceed two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) if the notice of cancellation is made prior to or on the first day of instruction or by the seventh day after the date of enrollment, whichever is later.
