Course Overview
In this 14 day course, students will learn how to adapt yoga classes toward the specific needs of each individual, based on their unique nature (prakruti and vikruti). This program includes deep instruction on the energetics and use of asana and pranayama. The program also includes a discussion on each limb of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and how each relates to the healing process.

Instructors
Dr. Marc Halpern is the founder and President of the California College of Ayurveda. An internationally-respected expert in the field of Ayurveda, Dr. Halpern received the award for Best Ayurvedic Physician from the Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Ramdas. He is a co-founder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Dr. Marisa Jackson-Kinman (Sri Devi)
Dr. Marisa Jackson-Kinman (Sri Devi), Ay.D., P.K.S., A.Y.T., is the Lead Faculty at the California College of Ayurveda, where she is also involved in curriculum development. Marisa‘s certifications include Ayurvedic Doctor, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Pancha Karma Specialist, and Sivananda Yoga Teacher, among others.
Margaret Koblasova (Yogapriya)
Margaret Koblasova (Yogapriya) Ay.D,is the founder and director of Ananda Ayurveda LLC in Utah. She taught and worked as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist for the past 12 years leading workshops, cleanses, and retreats. She has recently graduated from CCA as an Ayurvedic Doctor.

This program qualifies for 120 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credit.

How to Register
Refund Policy
The deposit for workshops & short courses is non-refundable. The Final Balance is due 14 days before the class start date. A student may choose to transfer his/her registration to another class for a fee of $150.00 if done prior to the final balance due date. The ONLY exception to this rule is a documented medical condition. On rare occasions, for reasons beyond CCA’s control, a short course can be cancelled. If you are registered for a short course that the College cancels, you will receive a full refund of any fees paid. While all efforts will be made to avoid cancellations, the College will accept no liability for student losses that occur beyond deposit or tuition actually paid to the College (e.g., non-refundable airfare, time lost from work, equipment expenses).
