Sanaz Rizlenjani

Yoga instructor

Hi, I’m Sanaz Rizlenjani. I’m a yoga instructor and Ayurvedic practitioner-in-training based in San Diego, CA.

My path to Ayurveda began through yoga. During my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I learned about the three doshas — and something immediately clicked. Around that time, while working long hours in the corporate world, I was navigating chronic stress and digestion challenges and found myself turning to herbs and holistic practices for support. Experiencing the simple yet transformative power of Ayurveda sparked a deep curiosity that has stayed with me ever since.

After 7+ years teaching yoga and working in tech at Google and Meta, I felt called to go deeper — to study the roots of this ancient science and bring more meaning and soul into my work.

As an Ayurvedic practitioner-to-be, I’m devoted to helping people reconnect with their natural balance amidst the pace of modern life. My intention is to honor your individual journey, listen deeply, and support you in uncovering what harmony looks like for you.

I offer care that is gentle, nurturing, and personalized. By weaving together Ayurvedic wisdom with practical lifestyle guidance, I’m here to help you connect with your own natural rhythm, so you can feel deeply nourished from within.

We begin by listening. All the answers are within.

Emily Benjamin

Diet & Lifestyle Wellness Intern

My name is Emily, and I am looking forward to working with you as an intern focused on diet and lifestyle change. Getting the basics down is the real work and can completely transform life in not-so-subtle ways. I am so excited to listen to your vision and support the emergence of your best self. Knowing that change isn’t always linear, but with some honesty, grit, and resolve, anything can be accomplished. Health has been a winding path for me, and I have been lucky to study with great teachers and mentors in Ayurveda, meditation, herbal medicine, massage, and craniosacral therapy. I have come out the other end with more wisdom, and I trust the body is always giving feedback and is never against one’s highest good.

Tabitha Boze

Principles of Ayurvedic Medicine Intern

Tabitha is a student in the Principles of Ayurvedic Medicine internship at the California College of Ayurveda. She has completed both the Principles of Ayurvedic Medicine course, as well as the Clinical Ayurvedic Medicine program. She feels passionately about looking at health and wellness through a multi-dimensional lens, which Ayurveda practices by considering an individual’s physical, emotional, and spiritual state. Working with Tabitha includes guidance on diet and lifestyle, as well as the therapeutic use of digestive herbal blends. Overall, she will use the sacred science of Ayurveda to help clients find empowerment from knowledge of self combined with knowledge of nature to cultivate a harmonious mind-body state.
