Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist
Continue Your Studies Learning Clinical Theory and Skills
Becoming a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS) is the next step in Ayurvedic practice. This intermediate program includes the study of the classical ayurvedic understanding of disease within each system of the body as well as an overview of the Western understanding. At this level, you will gain extensive knowledge of panchakarma and herbal medicine, including herbal formula design, and how to treat existing mild, moderate, or serious diseases.

Ayurvedic Doctor
The Highest Level of Clinical Training Available
The Ayurvedic Doctor Program (AyD) has been approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. During this advanced program, you will be attending classes as well as seeing patients. You will come away with a deep knowledge of Ayurveda and have the ability to integrate aspects of Western medicine into your practice, allowing you to act as a bridge between the two in order to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s condition.

Ayurvedic Massage & Bliss Therapy
This is hands on training taught in a 5 day intensive format. You will learn Abhyanga (ayurvedic massage), Shirodhara (oil treatment), and Svedana (herbal steam treatment).

Ayurvedic Herbal Apprenticeship
The CCA is proud to be the first Ayurvedic college in the west to provide its own teaching herb garden, home to over 80 different species of plant medicines from around the world. While working in the garden under the guidance of our Director of Herbalism, Dr. Brenda Krulikowski, students study plant identification and cultivation techniques while deepening their connection to the plants used in practice.
